The real recipe for limoncello Siciliano


    • 1l of pure alcohol;
    • 10 lemons of which 6 green and 4 yellow;
    • 1kg of sugar;
    • 1,3l of water.


Peel the lemons paying attention not to cut the white part. Put the skins in a glass bowl covered with alcohol. Leave to stand in the dark for about 10 days.

After 10 days, boil the water with the sugar. As soon as the water and sugar syrup is formed, turn off the heat and let it cool a little. Add the alcohol from the skins, mix it all together and bottle it.

We recommend keeping the bottle in the freezer to enjoy it at best.
